Deleting your data
Last updated 19 September 2026
You can ask DORTIGO to delete the personal information we hold about you, including your WhatsApp conversations with us. Here is how.
How to ask
What happens next
- We may ask you to confirm that the phone number is yours, so nobody can delete someone else’s information.
- We delete your WhatsApp messages and conversation records with us.
- If you have no active subscription and nothing is left to settle, we delete or anonymise your customer details: name, phone number, address and notes.
- We confirm on WhatsApp or by email when it is done, within 30 days of your request.
What we have to keep
Accounting and tax law requires us to keep records of payments: the amount, date, method and transaction reference. We keep these only for as long as the law requires and do not use them to contact you.
About WhatsApp and Facebook
DORTIGO does not use Facebook Login. Through WhatsApp we receive only your phone number and the messages you send to our business number. Deleting a chat on your own phone does not delete our copy, so send us a request as above. For information Meta holds about you, see Meta’s own privacy settings.
More about how we handle your information is in our Privacy Policy.
